Children With Special Needs & OPWDD

Special Needs Parenting strategies that help children build confidence and independence

Who We Are

Coordinated Care
Through OPWDD

The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) coordinates services for children and adults with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, Prader-Willi syndrome, and other neurological conditions, so they can live fully integrated lives in their communities.

Z Best Homecare works directly with OPWDD to deliver that care. Our multilingual staff communicates clearly with families from a wide range of backgrounds, respecting cultural customs while keeping everyone informed and involved in their child’s care.

OPWDD Services

Experienced Caregivers,
Real Relationships

Z Best Homecare has spent years supporting New York City families through some of life’s hardest transitions, a child with special needs, an aging parent, a loved one recovering from injury or illness. Our caregivers and nurses show up not just with the right credentials, but with the patience and attentiveness these situations call for.

Tailored Care Plans

We build a personalized care plan around each child’s specific needs and developmental goals, not a one-size-fits-all program.
