How to Get Started with OPWDD Services
Step 1: Determine Eligibility
Your loved one must have a developmental disability diagnosed before age 22 and show limitations in daily functioning.
Step 2: Submit Required Documentation
This includes psychological evaluations, medical records, and educational or developmental reports.
Step 3: Apply through the DDRO (Developmental Disabilities Regional Office)
Once approved, you’ll be assigned a Care Coordinator to help create a personalized Life Plan.
